Medical Justice offer independent medical advice and assessments to people held in immigration detention.
Survivors of torture
Freedom From Torture supports people who have survived torture, including providing medico-legal reports.
Helen Bamber Foundation provide support to people who have experience trauma from torture and trafficking. They can also support with medico-legal reports and information on how to refer is available on their website.
Atleau provide free, specialist, holistic legal advice and representation to adults, young people and children who have experienced trafficking, slavery and labour exploitation. They can also provide training to organisations and professionals.
Unaccompanied Children
Refer to Humans for Rights Network for age-disputed children who have been placed in detention.
The Refugee Council Age Dispute Project works with separated children whose age is not accepted by the Home Office to help them get out of detention and receive legal advice and support.
